'HOW TO LOCATE GRANTS and WRITE YOUR OWN PROPOSAL LIKE a PRO'
Even if eligible applicants were restricted to nonprofit organizations, there could be up to several thousand applicants in this field of applicants for some grants.
In order to be successful, the grant seeker has to go through a state which I call ANCHORING and POSITIONING. In many grant making environments, the administrator will already know who the successful grant applicant will be before the application is reviewed.
So, unless the grant applicant is anchored and positioned, follows strict and obscure rules that are embedded in the culture of the grant making community, being a successful grant seeker will be compromised. Imagine being called by a grant maker and told to apply for an open grant which is administered by the caller. It happens!
